Colleague RL Madness 2023

Colleague is thrilled to announce Colleague RL Madness 2024, set to take place on March 20th-21st. In the spirit of March Madness, this is Colleague’s second year running the collegiate Rocket League tournament.

Colleague RL Madness will feature 64 college teams from over 58 universities across North America, showcasing their skills in Rocket League. Teams are invited based off their performance in multiple highly competitive leagues throughout the Fall and Spring semester (e.g., CRL, CCA, NACE, NECC, etc.), with the top teams being ranked biweekly by Colleague’s team of analysts in the Colleague48 Poll.

Teams will compete in a single elimination bracket, with matches broadcasted live on Twitch by Colleague and several other community streams to provide coverage of the event. Spectators can expect intense matchups and plenty of nail-biting moments as the teams vie for the Madness Championship title and bragging rights.

Our goal with this tournament is to highlight the excellent performance of collegiate programs and clubs captured throughout the scholastic season, provide teams additional opportunities to play against other competitive teams, and showcase the top talent in collegiate Rocket League. Last March, West Virginia University was crowned the first ever Colleague Madness Champion, defeating Ball State University 3-0. This season’s event will be a step up in competition however, with many nationally top ranked teams participating in the event, and $750 on the line.
